British Elderly Woman Demands Her Young Egyptian Husband: Separation Feels Like Death

British elderly woman Iris Jones (82 years old) stated that being apart from her young Egyptian husband, Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim (36 years old), for nearly a year due to awaiting his visa decision to enter Britain has caused her "indescribable sadness." Iris shocked viewers of the popular British program "This Morning" when she detailed her relationship with Mohamed, who is 46 years younger than her, according to the Daily Mail. The British woman described the experience of being apart from her husband as "like death" and confirmed that she would go to Egypt to live with her husband if he is not granted a visa.

Iris met Mohamed in 2019 through social media before marrying him in 2020. She expressed how much she misses her husband, saying, "I don't have much time left and could die at any moment, and every day is precious to me." Mohamed told Mail Online that he conveyed his love for Iris through social media, but when he saw her in Cairo, he was certain of his feelings for her. He strongly denied that their relationship is for her money or for obtaining a British passport.

Iris previously worked as a cleaner and now lives in a cottage valued at around £220,000. She receives a weekly pension of £200, in addition to disability benefits. Mohamed shared with Mail Online that when Iris visited him in Cairo, his mother liked her and told him, "If you are happy, I am happy for you, my son." This is what every mother wants for her son—to be with the woman he loves.
