Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, announced a minor cabinet reshuffle in the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Reuters, the amendments included the appointment of Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Anwar Gargash as diplomatic advisor to the President. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid wrote on his official Twitter account today, "We have made a minor cabinet adjustment in the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of my brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed."
He added, "Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar join as Ministers of State. Dr. Anwar Gargash is leaving to work as a diplomatic advisor to the President, and Zaki Nusayba is leaving to serve as a cultural advisor to the President."
