Dalida Khalil: My Beauty Helped Me Enter the Arts, and I Wish to Collaborate with Saad Lamjarred

Lebanese artist Dalida Khalil revealed that her beauty helped her enter the artistic field at the beginning of her career, stating, "My appearance was essential in the initial stage of my professional life, but later, I worked on myself and developed my skills in this profession, and this is what brought me here."

In her interview with MTV, Khalil mentioned that she is not thinking about getting into a relationship at the moment and is currently focused solely on her work. She added that if the right person comes along, she wouldn’t mind changing her perspective. Speaking about her age, Khalil indicated that she has turned thirty-three and does not feel ashamed of her age, nor does she try to hide it from anyone.

When asked about her favorite friend in the artistic field, she expressed her fondness for Ward Khall, and Rania Issa. Regarding her desire to collaborate on a musical duet, she said: "I see myself working with Saad Lamjarred and Hussein Al Jasmi." She also discussed her boldness in the music video for her song "Sheik Awey" which she released some time ago, clarifying that she was not affected by the criticisms she received. She believes many appreciated her appearance and she only takes the positive side of the feedback. Khalil added that her upcoming music video would be even bolder, stating that she is preparing for this, and responding to the question, "Could you make a more daring video?" she said, "I don’t know what you mean by daring, but if it’s at this level and beyond, of course, yes. We are working on it."

On the acting front, Dalida Khalil's latest work is the series "Sir," which is a Syrian-Lebanese police drama television production made in Lebanon, written by Muayad Al-Nabulsi, directed by Marwan Barakat, and featuring actors such as Bassam Kousa, Rwad Aliyoo, Dalida Khalil, Bassim Maghniyeh, Khalil Ibrahim, Wissam Hanna, Jad Abu Ali, and several others.
