Al-Riffa Achieves Fourth Victory and Tops the Bahraini Premier League

The Bahrain National Stadium hosted the match between Al-Riffa Club and Al-Riffa Al-Sharqi Club in the fifth round of the Bahraini Premier League.

In this match, Al-Riffa took the lead in the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League after a thrilling victory over Al-Riffa Al-Sharqi (2-1). Al-Riffa's players delivered an outstanding performance, finishing the first half tied (1-1). Al-Riffa's opening goal came from a header by international defender Seyed Mehdi Baqer, who scored from a corner kick in the 33rd minute.

Al-Riffa Al-Sharqi equalized thanks to Luiz, who scored beautifully with a left-footed shot into the net of Seyed Shabr Al-Alawi in the 43rd minute. An unfortunate own goal occurred, as Al-Riffa scored their second goal through Al-Sharqi's defender Abdullah Shalal, who mistakenly directed a cross into his own net in the 60th minute.

Romanian Florin Motroc tried repeatedly to bring Al-Sharqi back into the match, but the score remained unchanged, concluding the game with Al-Riffa winning (2-1). With this result, Al-Riffa increased their points to 13, securing their fourth win in the competition along with one draw, while Al-Riffa Al-Sharqi remained at their previous total of 10 points in second place, suffering their first defeat in the competition.
