Kuwaiti actress Suad Suleiman, known as "Saudah," announced that she is officially wearing the hijab, indicating that she was suffering from an undisclosed illness before her recovery.
The artist "Saudah" shared a video on her personal Snapchat page, showing herself inside her car wearing the hijab. She explained that she had been ill before her health improved, stating, "I just came from the doctor and I'm feeling better… I wanted to tell you that I have officially worn the hijab... Thank God always and forever." The audience was surprised by the artist's announcement, especially since she had not disclosed her illness previously. Many praised her decision to wear the hijab after what she went through, wishing that she would not remove it again, as many artists have done.
Suad Suleiman had revealed several details about her life days earlier in a media appearance, notably mentioning the car accident she experienced seven years ago. She explained that her car exploded due to gas, noting that "the burn marks on my hand are still present." She said, "Previously, I used to wear makeup to hide the burn marks on my hand, but now I have come to accept them. I refused to undergo cosmetic surgeries because I felt that I would become better on my own. I spent five days in intensive care and left against medical advice."
The artist "Saudah" also revealed that she has not completed her studies yet, despite being 28 years old, commenting, "For me, studying is just a piece of paper; I’m doing everything I want. I wanted to be a psychology teacher, read psychology books, and develop myself. I wanted to be a presenter, and I became a presenter; I wanted to be an actress, and I became an actress. Now I want to be a director, and God willing, I will soon be a director."
It is worth mentioning that "Saudah" is a Kuwaiti artist, the daughter of actress Mai Al-Baloushi, and the niece of artists Maram and Hind Al-Baloushi, while her sister is singer Shaima.
