Al Ain Wins Against Al Wasl and Advances to Face Al Jazira in the Semi-Finals of the Professional Cup

Al Ain won against their host Al Wasl 4-3 on Tuesday evening in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Professional League Cup, qualifying for the semi-finals after the first match ended in a 3-3 draw. The "Leader" set a date with Al Jazira in the semi-finals.

Al Ain's goals were scored by Juancka with two goals in the 5th and 53rd minutes, Jonathan in the 66th minute, and Laba Kodjo from a penalty kick in the 84th minute. Al Wasl's goals came from Jonathan, the Al Ain player, who scored an own goal in the 14th minute, and from Adrilson in the 19th minute, and Abdullah Jumaa in the 59th minute.

Al Ain opened the scoring early in the 5th minute when Jonathan delivered a cross that was seized by Juancka before Al Wasl's goalkeeper Mohamed Ali, putting the ball into the "Felines" net.

Al Wasl began to push offensively after the goal, seeking to return to the match, and a header from Olabi of Al Wasl hit the right post and went out in the 9th minute.

Al Wasl equalized with a goal scored through friendly fire after Jonathan from Al Ain attempted to clear the ball, but accidentally redirected it into goalkeeper Khalid Issa's net in the 14th minute.

Amidst a lack of focus from Al Ain's players, Ramiro delivered a cross in the 19th minute, and Al Wasl defender Adrilson rose to head it into Al Ain's net, scoring a second goal for Al Wasl.

Al Ain's goalkeeper Khalid Issa played a high ball behind Al Wasl's defenders, which Juancka received perfectly, broke away from the Al Wasl goalkeeper, and placed it into the net, scoring a second goal for Al Ain in the 53rd minute.

Al Wasl responded strongly, scoring a third goal with a powerful header from Abdullah Jumaa in the 59th minute, following a perfect cross from Ali Saleh, intensifying the match in the following minutes with Al Ain continuously striving to return.

Al Ain equalized again through Jonathan with the third goal in the 66th minute, following a pass from Juancka, the standout player for Al Ain in that match. The referee awarded Al Ain a penalty after substitute Laba Kodjo was fouled in his first touch of the match by Abdullah Jumaa, which Laba Kodjo himself converted into the fourth goal for Al Ain in the 84th minute.
