French Astronaut Sends Mother's Day Wishes with Heart-Shaped Photo from Space

French astronaut Thomas Pesquet shared a tweet on his personal Twitter page featuring a photo from space that shows the Egyptian governorate of Faiyum shaped like a heart. He used the image to wish his mother and all mothers, expressing his love for them. Thomas Pesquet is known for his fondness for Egypt, particularly its geography, as he often shares images of the Nile River and the delta, admiring their unique locations. He previously posted a photo of the Nile and the delta, commenting on how impressive the location of this river is, stating, "The Nile and the delta in Egypt, contrasting its fertility with the surrounding desert and flowing into the blue of the Mediterranean Sea." This was during Pesquet's second space mission while residing on the International Space Station. He had completed his first mission in November 2016 and returned to Earth in 2017 after spending 197 days at the space station aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft.
