Denmark Creates a $1 Billion Fund to Aid Ukraine

The Danish government confirmed today, Wednesday, that it will establish a fund worth 7 billion Danish kroner, equivalent to approximately $1.01 billion, aimed at providing military, civilian, and commercial assistance to Ukraine. The fund will allocate 5.4 billion kroner for military aid, 1.2 billion for civilian assistance, and 0.4 billion for the efforts of Danish companies. In this context, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Rasmussen told reporters: "This largely reflects Ukraine's desires, which now relate to reconstruction in addition to military and humanitarian aid."
