European Commission: No Normalization of Relations with the Syrian Regime Without Political Solution

The European Commission revealed today, Monday, that the Commission's President Ursula von der Leyen will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv tomorrow, Tuesday, coinciding with Europe Day. A spokesperson for the Commission stated to reporters that "the visit reaffirms the European Union's steadfast support for Ukraine." On another note, the European Commission confirmed that "there will be no normalization of relations with the Syrian regime without a political solution in accordance with UN resolutions."
