Blinken: America is Not Promoting a Specific Candidate for NATO Presidency

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken noted today, Tuesday, that "the United States is not promoting a specific candidate for the presidency of NATO." In a press conference with his British counterpart James Cleverly in London, Blinken said, "We are not pushing or promoting a specific candidate. We are having close consultations with our allies and partners to determine our direction regarding NATO and its leadership."
