Russian news agency "Tass" reported that the Ministry of Defense announced that a Russian MiG-31 fighter jet crashed in the northern Murmansk region on Wednesday. The ministry added, "The aircraft crashed in an uninhabited area." It stated that the pilots safely exited the aircraft and are in good condition. The ministry did not disclose the cause of the fighter jet's crash.
