The Israeli Foreign Ministry indicated today, Monday, that Minister Eli Cohen had a call with his American counterpart Anthony Blinken, during which they discussed additional normalization steps. The two sides discussed taking further normalization steps as part of expanding and deepening the Abraham Accords, referencing the agreements mediated by the United States that Israel signed with Gulf countries in 2020. Cohen also met with American envoy Amos Hochstein in Jerusalem today, where they discussed "advancing diplomatic steps in the region."
