Russia and Ukraine Announce Return of 189 Prisoners

Russia and Ukraine announced on Sunday the return of approximately 100 prisoners of war from each side. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that 94 Russians were released after being captured in Ukraine, adding that they would be transported to a medical facility for a health inspection. Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian president's office, stated that "95 Ukrainian soldiers returned to their homeland after being captured by Russia," adding that "there are wounded among them."
