The National Hurricane Center reported today, Sunday, that "Ophelia, which was a tropical storm, has now transitioned into a tropical depression." The Miami-based weather agency indicated that "all warnings for storm surge and tropical storm conditions related to Ophelia have been discontinued," and it is expected that Ophelia will become a post-tropical cyclone today with further weakening anticipated.
