UEFA announced on Saturday a moment of silence in all matches of national teams and clubs across Europe, starting from Sunday, September 10, until September 21, in mourning for the victims of the Morocco earthquake. UEFA issued a statement via its account on X, stating: "UEFA has decided that there will be a minute of silence in all upcoming national and club matches starting tomorrow until September 21, in memory of the victims of the tragic earthquake that struck Morocco." It added: "European football's thoughts are with the Moroccan people during this difficult time."
