Shamas Calls for the Creation of a Dedicated Platform for Dollar Pricing

Maroun Shamas, the head of the Association of Oil Importing Companies, indicated in a press conference after his meeting with the Gas Station Owners Syndicate that "there is a need to create a platform through which fuel prices fluctuate with the change in the dollar exchange rate and, pending this platform, pricing should be in dollars." He emphasizes that he is operating within the framework of the law and calls for the establishment of a dedicated platform for dollar pricing.
