Title: Over 7 Million People Internally Displaced in Sudan

The International Organization for Migration revealed today, Tuesday, that nearly 7.1 million people have been internally displaced in Sudan, with more than half displaced recently due to the conflict that began in April. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees stated yesterday, Monday, that it now expects 1.8 million people to be displaced from Sudan by the end of the year and has appealed for $1 billion to assist them amid reports of rising rates of disease and mortality.
