The White House indicated that "U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his visit to Saudi Arabia yesterday, Sunday." It stated in a statement that "Sullivan reviewed the significant progress in the talks aimed at enhancing the ongoing 15-month ceasefire in Yemen, welcomed the ongoing efforts led by the United Nations to end the war, and discussed a range of other issues." It added, "Sullivan also thanked bin Salman for Saudi Arabia's support for American citizens during the evacuation from Sudan."
On the same day, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, during which they reviewed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields, as well as discussing developments in regional and international situations of mutual interest. Present from the U.S. side were U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom, Michael Ratney, Middle East and North Africa Coordinator at the National Security Council Brett McGurk, Presidential Coordinator at the State Department Amos Hochstein, and Senior National Security Advisor Ariana Berengaut.
In a separate meeting, the Saudi Crown Prince hosted the Deputy Governor of Abu Dhabi, National Security Advisor of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The meeting focused on ways to enhance relationships and links between their countries to promote growth and stability in the region.
