Saudi Citizen's Liberation and Syrian Displacement Crisis Between Bin Farhan and Bou Habib

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Lebanese Foreign Minister and Emigrants Minister Abdullah Bou Habib on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the International Coalition Against ISIS held in Riyadh. Bin Farhan expressed gratitude on behalf of the Saudi leadership for all the efforts of the specialized security agencies in Lebanon and their swift response in liberating the Saudi citizen and ensuring his safe return to his family.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing developments on regional and international fronts. The two sides also addressed key topics raised in the ministerial meeting of the coalition against ISIS. Minister Bou Habib invited Prince Bin Farhan to visit Lebanon, which would encourage more Saudis to visit the country. He also thanked the Kingdom for the facilities provided to evacuate Lebanese citizens during the Sudan crisis, according to a statement from the Lebanese Foreign Ministry.

Furthermore, the two ministers highlighted the importance of the recent Arab stance on the Syrian crisis and the need for an Arab solution that benefits all Arab countries in the region, particularly Lebanon, by addressing the Syrian displacement issue and its repercussions. In this context, the prince noted that he is undertaking necessary efforts with the Europeans to address Lebanese concerns. At the beginning of their meeting, the Saudi Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for all the efforts made by the specialized security agencies in Lebanon and their quick response in liberating the Saudi citizen kidnapped there.
