The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced today, Wednesday, that it has shut down the largest local alcohol factory in the country, located in a farm in the Abdaly area, which lies north near the border with Iraq.
According to a statement on "X," the criminal investigation department concluded that the farm was being used for local alcohol production. Following the legal authorization, the site was raided, and six Asian expatriates managing the factory were arrested. Security personnel discovered manufacturing tools, 236 barrels used for fermentation, and bottles ready for sale. The suspects and the seized items have been referred to the relevant authorities for necessary action.
