Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during the "St. Petersburg" Economic Forum today, Friday, urged public and private sector companies in Russia and around the world to explore the business environment in Algeria across various sectors with a "win-win" approach. He emphasized that the field is open for economic operators, stating, "Algeria is witnessing an important phase in its comprehensive developmental journey, having become a promising investment destination due to the pivotal reforms implemented by the government and the incentives offered to economic operators. We are determined to execute an ambitious plan in several areas in the coming years."

He added, "I thank those responsible for organizing this leading forum, which has become a distinguished global economic event attracting international attention in a world full of crises where challenges are increasing, highlighting the degree of interconnectedness between the destinies and problems of nations. No country can face crises alone in our contemporary world. These crises require coordination among the international community in search of effective solutions, and I commend Russia's efforts in providing grains and stabilizing oil and gas markets."

President Tebboune called on countries to work together with a cooperative approach that considers the interests of poor countries suffering from unrest and wars. He reaffirmed that the discussions held with President Putin were a timely opportunity "to renew our shared will to elevate our strategic relations to the levels we aspire to."

In response to a question about the pressures faced by countries with ties to Russia, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stated, "Algerians were born free and will remain free in their decisions."
