Italian League Clubs Approve DAZN and Sky Broadcasting Offers

Two sources reported today, Monday, that "representatives of Italian Serie A clubs have approved two offers totaling 4.5 billion euros ($4.8 billion) from the DAZN platform and the Sky network to obtain broadcasting rights for the league's matches locally over the next five seasons." In a statement to Reuters, the sources indicated that "17 out of the 20 clubs in the league voted in favor of the deal." The league's representatives met in Milan today to consider the offers, which are estimated to be worth around 900 million euros annually until the end of the 2028-2029 season.
