Death of Turkish Soldier in Northern Iraq Explosion

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today, Tuesday, the death of a Turkish soldier and the injury of another in an explosion of a bomb in northern Iraq, in the area of Operation "Claw-Lock." The ministry published a statement via its "X" account, signed by Defense Minister Yasar Güler, announcing the death of Unal Sebahi. The statement read: "Our heroic comrade-in-arms was martyred on September 4, 2023. May God bless our heroic martyr. On behalf of myself and the members of the Ministry of National Defense, we extend our condolences to his bereaved family and to our esteemed nation."
