Polish player Robert Lewandowski exhibited a strange and "disgraceful" behavior towards his teammate Lamine Jamal during the match between their team, Barcelona, and Deportivo Alaves on Sunday, in the 13th round of La Liga. During one of Barcelona's attacks, the young player Lamine Jamal chose to shoot at the goal instead of passing the ball to Lewandowski in the penalty area, but Alaves' goalkeeper saved the shot.
A video shared by the Spanish channel "Movistar Plus" showed the aftermath of the incident, where Lewandowski shouted at the Spanish national, of Moroccan descent. It later seemed that the young Spaniard (16 years old) wanted to calm his Polish captain, and they exchanged words after "Lewy" reprimanded him for not passing the ball. Jamal attempted to apologize to Lewandowski and extended his hand for a handshake, but the Polish striker refused to shake his hand.
Despite the incident, Lewandowski was named the best player of the match, scoring both goals in Barcelona's 2-1 victory over Alaves.
