A Spanish newspaper reported today, Tuesday, that the demands of Canadian star Alphonso Davies, Bayern Munich's left-back, will determine his next destination. Davies' contract with Bayern ends at the end of next season, making the summer of 2024 the last good opportunity to sell him unless he renews his contract at Allianz Arena. According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Davies wants a higher salary in order to continue with Bayern Munich. The report added, citing "Sky Germany," that Davies has stipulated a salary of 20 million euros annually in exchange for agreeing to extend his contract in Munich. The report mentioned that if Bayern refuses to pay this salary, they might resort to selling the player next summer. Real Madrid has set a price of 35 million euros for the purchase of Davies next summer, but Bayern does not intend to sell him for less than 50 to 60 million euros.
