After leaving Lebanon and the extensive tour he conducted with meetings involving officials, Hezbollah leaders, and Palestinian factions, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian tweeted the following: "In Lebanon, we met and consulted with Mr. Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Mikati, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, and some leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. What is happening in Gaza and the West Bank is genocide, serious human rights violations, forced migration, and some activists' efforts to legitimize the Israeli occupation."
He added: "The continuation of the ceasefire can prevent further escalation of the war. In my meetings with resistance leaders, I found that if Israeli war crimes and genocide continue, a more severe and complex resistance scenario will be implemented. We continue our collective diplomatic efforts to stop the violence and genocide by the Zionists."
