The cryptocurrency Bitcoin has surged to a two-year high, surpassing the $65,000 mark today, Monday, driven by an influx of funds into its exchange-traded funds in the United States. The price reached a session high of $65,537 during early trading in Europe, after already hitting a two-year peak during Asian trading. In the latest trading, Bitcoin recorded a four percent increase at $65,045. The largest cryptocurrency had previously reached an all-time high of $68,999.99 in November 2021. It has increased by 50 percent in market value this year, with most of the rise occurring in the past few weeks as flows into U.S.-listed Bitcoin funds, launched earlier this year, increased.
