Joshua Defeats Ngannou with a Knockout in the Second Round

British two-time world champion Anthony Joshua knocked out Cameroonian mixed martial arts star Francis Ngannou in just the second round of the heavyweight match on Saturday during Riyadh Season. The anticipated bout took place at the "Kingdom Arena," where Joshua quickly dropped his opponent in the first round before knocking him down twice more in the second round, leading to the announcement of Joshua as the winner due to Ngannou's inability to rise.

Ngannou, 37, a former UFC heavyweight champion, was participating in only his second professional boxing match after losing to Tyson Fury in October by a decision. This fight was the third main event held during the current fourth edition of Riyadh Season, following the match between British Tyson Fury and Cameroonian Francis Ngannou, along with the fight between British Anthony Joshua and Swedish Otto Wallin. Another anticipated match between Fury and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled for May.
