A colonel was assassinated and another officer was wounded due to the explosion of an explosive device in their vehicle on the Nasiriya - Ghadir al-Bustan road in the southern Quneitra countryside, near the Syrian Golan border. The two officers belong to a battalion in the 112th Brigade, which Israel accuses of launching missiles at the Syrian Golan. It should be noted that on November 12, 2023, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on the 112th Brigade in the vicinity of Nawa in the western Daraa countryside.
