Heatwave Scorches Saudi Arabia

The National Center of Meteorology in Saudi Arabia revealed the maximum and minimum temperatures for today, Wednesday, in some cities across the Kingdom. Al-Ahsa recorded a high of 50 degrees Celsius, while Abha recorded the lowest temperature at 20 degrees Celsius.

The center indicated that the expected high temperatures today are as follows: Al-Ahsa 50 degrees, with Dammam and Dhahna at 49 degrees, Hafr Al-Batin at 48 degrees, and both Al-Sammam and Al-Kharj at 47 degrees. Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Wadi Al-Dawasir, and Al-Majma'a recorded 46 degrees.

Regarding the minimum temperatures, Abha had the lowest at 20 degrees, followed by Al-Baha at 22 degrees, Turaif at 23 degrees, Al-Qurayyat at 24 degrees, and Najran at 25 degrees. The cities of Al-Wajh, Jazan, and Yanbu recorded the highest humidity levels at 95% and 80%.
