The Lebanese internal scene is experiencing a political chill that is expected to continue until after the Eid al-Fitr holiday in mid-April. This comes as the ambassadors of the five-nation group, who are interested in the Lebanese file, return to their countries to spend the second half of the holy month of Ramadan. This political cooling has led all parties to agree on providing conditions to seize the first possible opportunity to pass delayed obligations in the Lebanese internal political scene, foremost among them filling the presidential vacancy that was not completed by the expected date of October 31, 2022, according to "Al-Anbaa" Kuwaiti newspaper. Thus, preparations are underway to carefully accomplish several files, including those related to the internal Christian home through the anticipated Bkirki Document, which is expected to address the presidential obligation and various issues related to national partnership, restoring operations to Lebanese state institutions, and fully regaining the authority of the latter in sovereign matters, including the exclusivity of weapons and the control over the decision of war and peace.
