Title: U.S. Defense Secretary: Israel Killed Over 25,000 Palestinians

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced today, Thursday, that Israel has killed over 25,000 women and children since October 7. He added that Israel can and should do more to protect civilians. During a congressional hearing, Austin was asked about the number of Palestinian women and children killed by Israel, to which he responded, "More than 25,000." Austin also noted that approximately 21,000 precision-guided munitions have been sent to Israel since the beginning of its war on Gaza.
