Turkey Urges Iran to Avoid Further Escalation with Israel

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan informed his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian during a phone call on Sunday that Turkey does not want further escalation of tensions in the region following Iran's missile and drone attack on Israel. Turkish diplomatic sources reported that Abdollahian told Fidan that the retaliatory operation against Israel had concluded, adding that Iran would not launch a new operation unless it is attacked.
