Recently, Syrian actress Leen Ghra faced widespread criticism from the audience for her portrayal of the character "Ward" with a Lebanese dialect in the series "Crystal," as required by the script. Some considered that she was "ashamed of her mother tongue." In response to the attack from some followers, she shared a photo on her official Instagram account, accompanied by a caption that read: "I am a proud Arab Syrian actress. I love the dear land of Lebanon, its people, and its dialect. I have the desire to try acting in all dialects of the Arab world and globally if I get the chance. I come to live my earthly experience with freedom, love, and to try, and I will always keep trying. I wish for all of us more days filled with love, more peace, and fewer judgments."
In response, Lebanese actress Stephanie Attallah, who plays the character "Fay" (Ward's sister in the series), wrote: "You are beautiful inside and out. I hope you enjoy every second of the series."
