Iraqi artist Amer Jihad passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 69. The Iraqi Artists Association mourned the artist in a statement, saying, "The departure of artist Amer Jihad, who departed this life today. We ask Allah to envelop him in His vast mercy and to grant his family, loved ones, and colleagues patience and solace. Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return." Jihad was a comedic actor born in 1955, known for his distinctive roles in series such as "The Traveler," "Scorpio," and "Madam." He also participated in several films, including "The Inflamed Borders," "Mr. Director," and "The White Glove."
