The Saudi state-owned company SAMI (Saudi Military Industries) has signed an agreement with French company Safran, specializing in helicopter engine manufacturing, to collaborate on the maintenance and repair of engines. The agreement includes "technical support and accreditation, developing industrial infrastructure, and providing high-quality technical training for Saudi personnel who will be trained in Tarbes, France, by the company's experts."
Furthermore, the technical training for Saudi personnel will focus on enhancing their skills in the maintenance and repair of Makila 1 and Arriel 2 helicopter engines, which are installed in Super Puma, Panther, and other aircraft systems.

SAMI's CEO, Eng.
