The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defenses intercepted Israeli missiles launched from the Golan Heights toward rural Damascus early Thursday morning. The ministry stated: "This morning, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the direction of the Syrian Golan," adding, "Our air defense systems confronted the aggressor's missiles and shot down some of them, and the aggression resulted in some material losses."
