UAE President and Jordanian King Discuss Bilateral Relations

UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Jordanian King Abdullah II discussed the bilateral relations between their countries and the possibilities of enhancing strategic cooperation and joint work to achieve mutual interests, as well as various regional and international issues.

This took place during a meeting held today at the "Basmah Al-Amir" Palace in the capital, Amman.

Various aspects of cooperation were addressed, particularly in economic fields, investment partnerships, development, and other vital areas that serve efforts to achieve sustainable development and prosperity in both countries, aligning with their peoples' aspirations for a more thriving and progressive future.

The two sides also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of concern to both countries, affirming their commitment to enhancing joint efforts to achieve peace in the region, based on the two countries' steadfast approach to supporting peace, coexistence, and regional cooperation for the benefit of all peoples.

During the meeting, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized that the UAE and Jordan share common visions for achieving sustainable development for their brotherly peoples and establishing peace, stability, and prosperity for all people in the region. Both the UAE and Jordan confirmed their commitment to continuing coordination and consultation on issues of common interest to serve the interests of both countries and bolster Arab issues, as well as enhance regional security and stability.

King Abdullah II hosted a luncheon in honor of the UAE President and the accompanying delegation.
