Haniya: Iran Stands in the Frontline to Support the Palestinian People

Ismail Haniya, the head of Hamas' political bureau, indicated from Tehran today, Tuesday, that "Iran stands in the frontline to support the Palestinian people." This statement was made during a press conference held by Haniya alongside Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, following a meeting at the Iranian Foreign Ministry attended by officials from both sides.

Haniya stated, "We are going through a historic phase and a decisive turning point in the context of the historical struggle against the Zionist entity in the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood. Despite the heavy toll paid by our people, the Zionist entity has failed to achieve its political and military goals."

Haniya expressed his belief that "the Security Council's decision to call for a ceasefire indicates an unprecedented isolation experienced by the Israeli occupation," noting that "Washington is unable to impose its will on the international community."

Ismail Haniya arrived in Tehran at the head of a high-level delegation and is scheduled to hold a series of meetings and discussions with Iranian leadership regarding the political and field developments related to the ongoing war in Gaza, as well as all changes related to the Palestinian cause.
