The Syrian Observatory reported today, Monday, the "killing of drug trafficker Nasser Faisal Al-Saadi, who is close to the Lebanese 'Hezbollah' and the Syrian regime's security services, in an airstrike likely conducted by Jordan on the Salahd area in the countryside of Sweida." Regional intelligence sources stated, "Jordan carried out several airstrikes today within Syria along its northern border against hideouts of drug traffickers backed by Iran in response to a major smuggling operation." In a statement, the Jordanian army indicated that it "foiled a plot involving dozens of infiltrators from Syria associated with Iran-backed 'militias,' after they crossed into Jordan armed with rocket launchers, anti-personnel mines, and explosives."
