The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division has issued the following: "Under the auspices of the Lebanese Cycling Union, the 'LIVAM' Committee for School Sports, affiliated with the Administrative Committee of the 'Homenetmen' club, will organize a cycling race in the Marina area - Dhour Choueir, between the barracks of the martyr General Wissam al-Hassan - Dhour Choueir and the Golden Beach pool along the coastal road for several laps, starting from 7:30 AM on May 12, 2024, until 10:30 AM. Therefore, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces will implement the following traffic measures on the mentioned date: prohibiting parking on both sides of the race route, effective from midnight. Traffic will be diverted starting from 6:00 AM as follows: from the Leopards Bridge to Golden Beach towards the highway, and from Golden Beach towards the marina/beach area toward the Nikaash Bridge, until the end of the race. Citizens are requested to take note and adhere to the directives and guidance from the Internal Security Forces personnel and to the traffic signs placed in the area, to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion."
