Saudi Arabia will host the Disneyland Castle for the first time in the Middle East, as part of the Riyadh Season 2023. The Riyadh Season, announced by the chairman of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, Turki Al Sheikh, will kick off on October 28, 2023. It will feature the CR7 Museum and Experience, designed in a modern way around the character and story of Cristiano Ronaldo, showcasing all his awards and titles along with interactive experiences. The season will also include the global 433 experience, hosting international football legends and creating exciting football experiences. Under the leadership of our King and with the support and planning of our inspiring Crown Prince, the video for Riyadh Season 2023 was launched, showcasing its new identity and global entertainment experiences.
Turki Al Sheikh also announced several major modern events with a global theme, such as the "Barbie" World to revive the brand. In a promotional video shared on his X account, Al Sheikh stated: "On October 28, the Riyadh Season, organized by the best event coordinators globally, will open with the participation of the most famous stars." He added, "This will be accompanied by the largest event of its kind in the world, the Riyadh Season Belt Fight, which will feature the biggest heavyweights boxers and will be broadcast live worldwide." He continued: "The fourth edition of the Riyadh Season aims to create more than 200,000 direct and indirect jobs and empower nearly 2,000 local and international companies, covering more than 7 million square meters of entertainment experiences worldwide."
