Intense Israeli Airstrikes on Hezbollah Camps Near Brital (Video)

The Israeli military conducted a series of airstrikes late Wednesday-Thursday targeting multiple locations in eastern Lebanon, including a camp belonging to Hezbollah, according to a source close to the party, in an escalation following attacks carried out by Hezbollah on Israeli military bases. The source stated that "at least five Israeli airstrikes targeted several points in the vicinity of Brital, one of which hit a Hezbollah camp." They added that the intensity of these strikes is "the heaviest" since the escalation between Hezbollah and Israel began.

The first exclusive video of the strike that hit the towns of Brital and the Nabi Ismail camp in the central Bekaa was shared. Gunfire was heard from the village, and the sound was detected from the far north of the Bekaa to the borders of the western Bekaa. May God protect the people.

Since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip on October 7, Hezbollah and Israel have been exchanging fire across the border almost daily. In recent days, Hezbollah has announced the use of weapons for the first time since the escalation began.

The Israeli strikes come after Hezbollah announced Wednesday that it targeted three Israeli military bases, one near Tiberias, "in response" to "assassinations" carried out by Israel, specifically referring to an airstrike that the Israelis claim resulted in the death of a prominent field commander in the party.

In separate statements, Hezbollah stated that it targeted a command center in Branite barracks "with heavy Burkan missiles," and the air surveillance unit's site in Miron base "with dozens of Katyusha rockets, heavy missiles, and artillery shells," as part of "the response to the assassination carried out by Israel in the south."

Later Wednesday evening, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for an attack "with several kamikaze drones" on an Israeli military base west of the city of Tiberias, which is far from the Lebanese border. Hezbollah stated in a statement that "in response to the assassinations" carried out by Israel, its fighters launched "an aerial attack with several kamikaze drones on the Ilan Base west of Tiberias," adding that the attack targeted "part of the comprehensive surveillance and detection system of the Air Force."
