Russian President Vladimir Putin's plane landed in Hanoi on Wednesday evening, marking the beginning of a two-day state visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Russian president arrived in Hanoi from Pyongyang after concluding a two-day state visit to North Korea. As previously reported by the Kremlin's press service, Putin is scheduled to meet with all four leaders of the country: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man. During the discussions, a full range of issues concerning Russian-Vietnamese strategic partnership will be addressed.
