The Rusafa Criminal Court has sentenced the individual known as Hadil Khalid Al-Samarrai, nicknamed "Umm Al-Loul," to life imprisonment for drug possession and trafficking. A judicial source stated that the Rusafa Criminal Court issued a life sentence against the social media personality Hadil Khalid Abdul Rashid, after convicting her of international drug trafficking.

In an official statement, Hussein Youssef Al-Tamimi, the official spokesperson for the General Directorate for Drug Affairs in the Ministry of Interior, said: "The General Directorate for Drug Affairs carried out a specialized security operation that led to the dismantling of a network involved in drug trafficking. Through in-depth investigations and careful intelligence efforts, we monitored the accused (H.K.A.) known as (Umm Al-Loul) transporting drugs with the intent to trade."

Al-Tamimi added that "a specialized task force was formed and she was arrested legally under a judicial decision, and she was referred to the competent court which issued a life sentence against her for drug trafficking under Article (28) of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. (50) of 2017."
