9 Important Guidelines from Dubai Airports for Travelers During Peak Season

Dubai Airports has urged travelers during the peak travel season to follow a set of guidelines and tips to ensure a smooth and comfortable travel experience. This comes as Dubai International Airport announced its readiness to welcome over 3.7 million passengers during the peak season coinciding with the holiday and school vacation season, from June 12 to June 25.

**Key Guidelines**

1. Passengers traveling with Emirates can take advantage of the convenient check-in facilities provided by the airline, including early or home check-in, self-check-in, and city check-in options.

2. Passengers on Flydubai are advised to arrive at the airport at least four hours before their flight.

3. Travelers with other airlines should arrive at the airport three hours before their flight departure and are encouraged to complete check-in online to save time and effort.

4. Ensure to check the baggage allowance and luggage regulations of the airline to avoid any last-minute delays.

5. Prepare in advance to save time at security checkpoints by placing metallic items, such as watches, jewelry, mobile phones, coins, and belts, in the carry-on bag and following the instructions regarding the transport of liquids, aerosol products, and gels. Families traveling with children over the age of 12 can use smart gates to expedite passport verification.

6. It is advisable to check the latest travel regulations and requirements for your destination to ensure you have all the necessary documents. Double-check all travel documents in advance and weigh your luggage at home to avoid any delays at the airport.

7. Remember to place spare batteries and portable chargers in your carry-on bag.

8. While farewells at home are important, only travelers are allowed to enter departure lounges during peak times. Using the Dubai Metro to travel to and from the airport and between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 is recommended to avoid congestion.

9. Access to the vehicle area in the arrivals section of Terminals 1 and 3 is limited to authorized public transport and airport vehicles only.
