An security source told "Al Arabiya" on Wednesday that "we do not expect the Syrian regime to intervene in the event of a war with Hezbollah." The source added, "The Israeli army is prepared for a ground operation on several fronts," and mentioned, "We expect difficult combat days on the Lebanon and Syria fronts." The source noted that "Israel has monitored thousands of militia members affiliated with Iran on Syrian territory." The source also indicated that "the Israeli General Staff is ready with air and naval arms," and continued, "Three additional brigades of Israeli ground forces are ready in the northern command."
