Direct Hit to a Building in Tel Aviv by Qassam Rockets (Video)

Three rockets were launched from Gaza, hitting residential buildings in Ashkelon this afternoon, as sirens were heard in settlements along the Gaza envelope. The Qassam Brigades announced that they "targeted occupied Ashkelon with a barrage of rockets in response to the targeting of civilians." Sirens were also heard in Ashdod, Kissufim, Tel Aviv, and its surroundings coinciding with a new rocket barrage directed at several Israeli cities including Ashkelon and Tel Aviv.

Social media was flooded with videos documenting a direct hit to a building in Tel Aviv and the damage inflicted, following the Qassam Brigades' rocket barrage towards the city, along with a rocket falling in the city of Jaffa. The Qassam Brigades stated that they launched a rocket strike towards Tel Aviv, in response to the targeting of Palestinian civilians. Reports indicated that three Israelis were injured as a result of a rocket launched from Gaza hitting a building in Tel Aviv.

On the other hand, Israeli bombardments targeted several inhabited houses in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of dozens and injuries to others, with agricultural lands also being targeted. Reports indicated that "four people were killed and more than 20 others injured due to an Israeli airstrike on a house in Jabalia in northern Gaza." Additionally, there were multiple casualties and injuries from Israeli bombing on houses in Bir al-Najjah and al-Qassasib, including a house that had been destroyed days earlier and was bombed again shortly thereafter.

At least 12 people were reported killed and dozens injured in an Israeli strike that targeted an inhabited house belonging to the "Mehysen" family next to Abu Hussein schools in Jabalia camp. The Israeli bombardment also targeted agricultural lands in Khan Younis. The Indonesian hospital in Gaza reported receiving 28 dead and 118 injured in the last three hours.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip stated that "the occupation deliberately targets and destroys lands cultivated with vegetables, preventing farmers from accessing them, with the bombardment causing damage to over 24,000 dunams of crops." Khalil Daqra, the spokesperson for the "Martyrs of Al-Aqsa" hospital, announced a real crisis in the kidney and intensive care units, noting that the aid received covers only 2% of the hospital's requirements. He called on "the whole world and all doctors globally to prepare whatever they can to set up field hospitals in Gaza."
