Minister of Public Works in the caretaker government, Ali Hamieh, stated today, Wednesday, in a post on his account on the "X" platform: "The measures taken at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut as well as at other maritime ports are under continuous and ongoing monitoring in light of the current circumstances, especially concerning the movement of departing and arriving passengers to and from the airport, and similarly for the transportation of goods through maritime ports."
Hamieh added, "Moreover, readiness is in place to activate emergency plans concerning the infrastructure managed by the ministry." He continued, "For all of this, the current phase requires joint efforts to work on overcoming any financial or administrative obstacles."
