French star Kylian Mbappé is currently spending his vacation after officially signing with Spanish club Real Madrid, where he was presented to the fans at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, finally putting an end to a long period of speculation.
Mbappé is enjoying his break following his presentation as a Real Madrid player, having chosen the same destination for his vacation as last year, which is Miami, USA. Several bloggers shared pictures on social media that revealed Mbappé's vacation, with the player arriving in Miami on Friday and currently enjoying the city, sun, and beach.
Mbappé is scheduled to join Real Madrid training on August 7, during the team’s stay in the United States, with plans for the forward to make his debut as a Real Madrid player in the UEFA Super Cup final set for August 14 in Warsaw against Italian side Atalanta.
The way Mbappé was presented as a Real Madrid player was similar to that of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, with a shared detail of both players wearing the number 9 jersey upon joining. Ronaldo later transitioned to his preferred number "7" a year after joining, following Raúl's departure to Schalke in Germany. It is expected that Mbappé will also switch to number 10 next year when Luka Modrić's contract with the team ends.
Recently, Spanish reports indicated that Mbappé will receive a salary of no less than 20 million euros per season, with a total earnings package of 50 million euros, which is lower than the total of 72 million euros he was earning at Paris Saint-Germain.
